A great big Thanks to all of you who came and shared our 12th Anniversary Celebration with us on the 22nd.
We especially appreciated your candid responses to our questonnaire. You have given us excellent feedback and we will be looking at a change in our hours and possibly remaining open one evening a week in order to accomodate those of you who would like to stop off on the way home from work. If you were not here on Sunday, we would still like to have your opinions and if you wish, you may fill out our Questionaire in the shop when you visit.
We plan lots more Demo days and opportunities to order from Catalogues as new orders are put together. Have a browse through those on the table in the "Paper" room when you visit the shop.Congratulations to Sandy Jordan, our door prize winner. Sandy is now the proud new owner of a fantastic Colorbox Liquid Chalk Queue. If you haven't seen these yet you are in for a treat.
Our Demos on Sunday focused on resist techniques of all sorts and brought about requests for more workshops dealing with this technique, and of course, the use of chalk inks in resist as well.
We love the soft feel of these inks and having 6 in one little queue is the ultimate in self indulgence! The original order is dwindling but we have reordered; in addition to chalks there will also be pigment inks in the same format...
New stamps are starting to arrive. The wonderful Southwest images from Stamp A Mania have been very popular.

Looking for new ways to use those beautiful alcohol inks? Wanting to create backgrounds with a "Bling" factor? This workshop is for you! You will be creating your own beautiful backgrounds, incorporating effective embellishments, working with transparency, and cropping and layering these colourful papers. Bring a friend and join us for an afternoon of fun and creativity you just won't want to miss. We'll be doing 3 projects... third one is a Mother's Day Card but can be used for any occassion.
